So Who is Casey Jones?

At first glance, Casey Jones -- or Casey's to those who have their favorite stool at the bar or love the fact that their favorite server has their cold beer of choice on the table before they even settle in -- is a local joynt along the railroad tracks in a small town filled with the usual chain restaurants and endless run of gas stations. Many people drive by, unaware of what's inside. And what IS inside? An interesting question. I think the true test of what an "establishment" is actually what it is not. It isn't any one person or any one thing. Its everything and everyone together. What so many people miss sometimes is that what makes a place interesting is the collective energy created by all the people in it. We often joke that a dark cloud hovers over the building that allows the weirdest things to happen. But what's really more true, is that there is an aura around the building that makes it who and what it is, despite who comes and goes or what color the walls become. The place is greater than the sum of its parts. And it evolves as the people who visit it change.

We like change. Its challenging but is what keeps the place fresh. We are in the middle of another evolution now. It brings us fresh paint, new foods and new faces. The fun part is that regardless of the change, we will forever remain Casey's...the place people meet people. Real people. The kind of people you marry or go into business with or get advice from....the people who become friends.

We are new, made-up cocktails, sandwiches, pizzas and "gourmet" entrees that are made with the best ingredients (local whenever possible) and always made with passion and integrity. Like what we make or not...its been made with soul and with the thought toward making someone smile. We are fun events and great live music for free. We are education in wine and food. We are a place to celebrate the good times. And a spot to break from the bad. We are a conscious member of a community that has a voice and uses it. We are everyone we employ. And not any one person in particular.
