Coming to Draft

Our fourteen tap handles are full of delicious beer for every palate. Eightes are dedicated to the Big Boys--the most popular selections that everyone wants to see on draft....GOTTA have 'em. The remaining six are special. We seek out the most delicious beer from around the world to feature. Give them a try and let us know what your faves are. Maybe one of the little boys can knock one of the big guys out!!

NEXT UP: Lagunitas IPA. I had the chance to visit the brewery during my trip to California last week. It was a delightful break from the torrential downpours that I experienced for the full....five....days! Ugh. At any rate, the brewery is nestled in the foothills in Petaluma. I was there to explore the Petaluma Gap in general and the vineyards of Gap's Crown more specifically. Ironically, wine professionals are also passionate about their beer. It seems the absolute required beverage that provides a respite for the palate. Now I am now a big beer drinker. Truth is, I don't drink beer at all. Tasting beer for the six lines really happens by consensus -- all the staff tastes and approves. Unless something really excites me. For me to get excited about a beer....says a great deal.

I tasted through the IPA Maximus, the Pils, the Lagunator Ale and the Wilco Tango Fox Trot and....LOVED THEM ALL? What does this mean?! I am soooo confused. Well. In the short term, what it means is that Lagunitas will now be occupying one of those Significant Six Tap Handles. On draft on or about Friday, April FOOLS DAY!
