Soon the flags will be flying overhead as we announce the pride we feel in our heritage. While we proclaim ourselves as more local restaurant & bar for friends and family than Irish pub throughout the year, our roots are in the memory of our founding matriarch's own home town. So what does that mean? It means we try to have a really good time on St. Patrick's Day every year. It means that we strive to bring you great food & drink made to a standard set by Nora 36 years ago when she opened Casey Jones. It means that while there is no green beer as no good Irishman would "muddy his good pint with that foul green dye", our entire staff wears Casey Jones green in the best spirit possible.

Here is what we have in store:

We open Thursday, March 17 at 11:00am with full on, Irish fare with our slow-cooked Corned Beef, Cabbage & Potatoes with Irish Soda Bread; Bangers & Mash; Shepherd's Pie; Corned Beef Sandwich; Reuben Sandwich; Fish 'n Chips; Reuben Pizza; Irish Stew; St. Patricks Day Chocolate Baked Alaska with Green Meringue; Brownie a la mode with our own Bailey's Ice Cream and; Pistachio Creme Brulee; Wow.  We will also offer some of our favorite grill menu items to round out the food for the day. 

In the morning, enjoy $3 Mimosas and $5 Kilbeggan Bloody Molly's from 11am to 2pm; $2.50 Bud Light Aluminums start at 2pm (while supplies last which won't be long!) as well as some yummy cocktails created for the day. Make sure to stay for the St. Brendan's Irish Cream free tasting & swag giveaway from 5-6pm and-- YES the TV's will be tuned into the first round of the NCAA while the Irish celebration is going on! We've got Murphy's Irish Stout, Killian's Irish Red and Scotland's Innis & Gunn Irish Whiskey Barrel-aged Stout on draft, along with nine other draft choices. And then there's the bling we will be giving away all day. The Franklin Square Band will be playing for your St. Patrick's Day Fun starting at 7pm (bagpipes included). Phew!
